Tumble

All tumble classes are 1 hour long, with all time being spent on trampoline, tumble track, and tumbling. A half hour is spent on tumbling with 15 minutes each on trampoline and tumble track. Beginner classes teach students the gymnastics skills they will need for more advanced tricks including rolls, cartwheels, and handstands. Upper level classes pertain to teaching students the backhandspring and greater tumbling skills.

Junior

This class is a great way to learn the basics and fundamentals of tumbling. Athletes learn how to do rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and round-offs safely and correctly.

Level 1

This class is designed to be age and ability appropriate. Tumbling and jumping skills are required to be taught safely and correctly. Skills instructed begin with backward rolls to the backhandspring. Students are taught the basic skills including rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, and handstands all leading up to the backhandspring.

Level 2

Students must be able to perform a backhandspring alone on the trampoline, tumble track, or floor. Continue work on basics, backhandsprings, and connecting round-off backhandsprings.

Level 3

Students must be able to complete a minimum of a round-off backhandspring on the floor alone. Students work on multiple backhandsprings, flipping, and twisting. Students can compete Power Tumbling as members of the Trampoline and Tumbling team (please see Trampoline tab for more details).
